Scratch

By scaling creative testing and refining cross-category tracking, we helped Scratch achieve sustainable, data-backed growth with the same budget.

About the Brand:
Scratch is an Australian subscription-based dog food company redefining pet nutrition with human-grade ingredients, made-to-order freshness, and a commitment to transparency and sustainability. By selling directly to customers, Scratch delivers premium dog food without the middleman markup.

The Challenge

Scratch wanted to accelerate growth for its Kibble and Raw Dog Food lines through Meta Ads. However, creative fatigue and limited ad variety were restricting campaign performance and learning velocity. The brand needed a system to scale creative testing without increasing media spend.

Our Solution

We implemented a creative velocity framework to test and optimise ad performance at scale.

  • Rapid Creative Production — Increased ad output from fewer than 10 to 50 creatives in the first month, maintaining a minimum of 25 new assets monthly.

  • Diverse Formats — Combined static images, lifestyle visuals, and UGC-style videos for better audience engagement.

  • Custom Conversions Setup — Built tracking to separately record conversions for Kibble and Raw products, enabling cross-ad attribution and category insights.

The Results

  • +15% ROAS in the first month

  • –20% CAC, with the same ad spend

  • Significant uplift in total revenue and paid media efficiency
